Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) is a native herbal plant found in the eastern forest of North America. The root and rhizome is said to be medicinal, used to treat Premenstrual Syndrome,relieving menstrual muscular spasm,improve Menopausal and depression symptoms. When black cohosh is harvested, the root is usually black in color.Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) is claimed to have been recommended as an alternative replacement therepy treatment of hot flushes in menopausal ladies and breast cancer patients.
